India has 35 Approved Flight Schools with 54 Bases with 9 More to be Added by Year End
In 2016, India has 29 flying training organizations (FTOs). At present, the country has 35 FTOs with 54 bases, the Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia said. According to Scindia, by December, 2023, 9 more bases are likely to be added, taking the number of bases to 63.
