India – Dunes Aviation Academy (DAA), a DGCA‑approved Flying Training Organisation (FTO), has showcased the rapid progress of its cadets following the launch of its new training base in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The academy highlighted a cadet who logged 55 flight hours within a single month, underscoring the base’s operational efficiency and ideal flying conditions.
- The Bhilwara training base, inaugurated in August 2025, marks a major expansion for DAA beyond its home state of Gujarat.
- The site offers significant training advantages including uncontrolled airspace, minimal air traffic congestion, and year-round favourable weather, all of which enable uninterrupted pilot training.
- The new facilities include on-site hangars for aircraft storage and maintenance, along with space for future expansion as student intake grows.
- Dunes Aviation Academy’s DGCA approval (valid January 2024 – April 2029) authorises it to deliver CPL, PPL, renewal, and conversion training programs.
- The academy’s training structure combines ground school in Ahmedabad with flight operations conducted at Bhavnagar and Bhilwara, utilising a fleet of 14 aircraft—including recent additions of four Piper Archer DXs delivered in May 2025.
