Well known Indian type rating pilot training facilitator for airlines and commercial pilot license holders Birdman Aviation India, a leading name in the Indian aviation industry, is excited to announce an opportunity for collaboration with prestigious Flight Training Organizations (FTOs) in the USA, UK, Middle East, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa for an upcoming airline’s cadet pilot program. As part of their commitment to fostering the next generation of pilots, Birdman is inviting proposals from the FTOs in compliance with the standards set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India.

Program Overview

Birdman’s upcoming Cadet Pilot Program aims to offer comprehensive pilot training to aspiring cadets, ensuring they meet or exceed the requirements for commercial pilot licensing as outlined by the DGCA. The program will encompass a thorough curriculum that includes theoretical knowledge, practical flight training, and additional skills development to prepare cadets for a successful career in aviation.

Collaboration Requirements

Birdman seeks to collaborate with FTOs across the globe that have a proven track record of training successful Indian pilots. The ideal partner will demonstrate:

  • DGCA Compliance: Ability to provide training that aligns with Indian DGCA standards, including flight hours, curriculum content, and safety protocols.
  • Modern Facilities: A diverse fleet of aircraft and advanced training simulators to ensure high-quality training experiences.
  • Experienced Instructors: Qualified and experienced instructors familiar with international training requirements.
  • International Student Support: Experience in supporting international students, including visa assistance and cultural integration.

Proposal Submission

FTOs interested in partnering with Birdman Aviation are invited to submit a detailed proposal outlining their training programs, costs, timelines, and the ability to meet DGCA requirements. The proposal should also address:

  • The structure of the training program, including theoretical and practical components.
  • A breakdown of the facilities and aircraft fleet available for training.
  • Instructor qualifications and experience.
  • Support services for international students.
