India & New Zealand – HM Aviation, a Delhi-based ground school and commercial pilot training facilitator, has announced that its New Zealand partner Air Hawke's Bay is accepting applications for its June 2026 Commercial Pilot Licence batch, targeting Indian students seeking DGCA-compliant overseas flight training.

  • The programme commences 12 June 2026 at Air Hawke's Bay's training facility in Hastings/Napier, New Zealand. The course runs for approximately 12 months, covering comprehensive ground school training and flight training to meet both NZ CAA and DGCA India requirements.
  • The programme is designed specifically for Indian students pursuing CPL qualification in accordance with DGCA India curriculum standards, enabling licence conversion upon return.
  • Air Hawke's Bay and HM Aviation have a longstanding partnership under which HM Aviation handles ground theory delivery in India and Air Hawke's Bay delivers practical flight training in New Zealand. The partnership has produced hundreds of Indian graduates now working as pilots with airlines. In December 2025, HM Aviation deployed a further 12 students to the New Zealand school under the same programme.
  • HM Aviation provides end-to-end student support including counselling, admissions guidance and mentoring throughout the training period. The organisation operates a partner FTO network spanning New Zealand, the USA, South Africa, Spain and India.
