Indian Pilot Training Facilitator HM Aviation Sends New A320 Cohort to Thailand for Type Rating in July 2026

Thailand – Indian pilot training facilitator HM Aviation has deployed eight Commercial Pilot Licence holders to Acron Aviation’s Bangkok Training Center for a 45-day Airbus A320 type-rating course that began on July 20, 2026.

  • Acron Aviation’s published DGCA A320 course structure comprises:
    • 24 hours of jet-induction ground school.
    • 20 hours in a fixed-base simulator.
    • 88 hours of aircraft ground instruction.
    • Eight hours allocated to DGCA written examinations.
    • 32 hours of full flight simulator training.
    • Four hours of line-oriented flight training.
    • Two-hour day and night skill tests.
  • The Bangkok centre operates eight full flight simulators:
    • Two ATR 72-600 devices.
    • Two ATR 72-500 devices.
    • One A320 CEO/NEO device.
    • Two A320 CEO devices.
    • One A330-200E device.
