India – Aviacons Flight Training, an well established pilot training ground school and flight training facilitator, is now recruiting across six operational departments as it prepares for the commencement of flight training operations at Vellore Aerodrome (VOVR), Tamil Nadu.

The recruitment drive spans the full operational structure of a new FTO:
- Flight Operations and Training: Flight Instructors (FI/AFI), GI/Theoretical Knowledge Instructors
- Flight Operations and Administration: Flight Operations Officers, Administrative Officers
- Safety and Compliance: Safety Manager, Safety Officer
- Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO): CAMO Manager, Technical Officers
- Aircraft Maintenance: Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs), Aircraft Technicians, Technical Assistants
- Procurement and Logistics: Procurement Manager, Stores Manager

AFM previously reported that last month Aviacons, the Hyderabad headquartered ground school and international pilot training facilitator, hosted Jonathan Manuel, Director of New Zealand Airline Academy - one of the largest flight training organisations in New Zealand. It also operates in its ground school a TAV 1000i which is a BATD & G1000 trainer that was developed by them. The device was first shown at the Indian Airshow Wings India 2024 and since then has seen a number of orders from other pilot training organisations.
