Gurugram, India – FSTC, an Indian aviation training group operating both flight schools and full flight simulator training centers, welcomed Shri Narhari Singh Bangar, IAS, from the Department of Civil Aviation, Haryana Government, to its new facility in Gurugram.

In December 2024 FSTC announced a significant milestone with the successful administration of the first European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) examination in the country. This development marks a new chapter in making European licensing more accessible to Indian aviation professionals.

  • The EASA ATPL exam was conducted at FSTC’s facility in Gurugram, allowing candidates to pursue European certification without traveling abroad.
  • Capt. Murthy, one of the first participants, expressed his gratitude to FSTC and EASA for this opportunity, emphasizing its importance for Indian pilots aspiring to obtain EASA licenses.
  • The FSTC EASA Conversion Program includes ICAO-to-EASA exams in India, updated exam resources, and modern prep tools such as books, videos, and live webinars.
