India’s Aviation Growth to Take Spotlight at Wings India 2026

India – Wings India 2026, Asia’s largest civil aviation exhibition and conference, is set to take place from 28–31 January 2026 at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad, showcasing India’s emergence as the world’s fastest-growing civil aviation market.

  • The event will be inaugurated by India’s Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu, and will feature high-level delegations, CEOs, policymakers, and aviation stakeholders from over 20 countries.
  • Under the theme “Indian Aviation: Paving the Future – From Design to Deployment, Manufacturing to Maintenance, Inclusivity to Innovation and Safety to Sustainability,” the event will focus on India’s transformation into a global hub for aviation connectivity, services, and manufacturing.
  • India’s civil aviation sector has seen a decade of rapid growth, including surging passenger numbers, record aircraft orders, major airport infrastructure expansion, and increasing global MRO and pilot training capabilities.
  • The four-day forum will include an international exhibition, CEO roundtables, the Global CEOs Forum, student innovation competitions, air shows, and over 500 B2B and B2G meetings.
  • Exhibitors and participants will include major global and domestic players such as Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Dassault, Bell Textron, HAL, Rolls-Royce, United Aircraft Corporation, Air India, IndiGo, Akasa Air, GMR, Adani, and Noida International Airport.
  • Highlights include static and aerial displays by over 31 aircraft, aerobatic demonstrations by the Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran team and the Mark Jefferies team, and the Aviation Job Fair connecting industry leaders with youth and skilled talent.
  • The conference programme will feature 13 thematic sessions covering topics such as flying training, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), advanced air mobility, MRO, aircraft leasing, air cargo, skilling, and women in aviation.
  • With over 150 exhibitors, 7,500 business visitors, and an expected 100,000 general visitors, Wings India 2026 aims to solidify India’s positioning as a central player in global aviation’s future.
