India - Chimes Aviation Academy (CAA) CEO Bobby Sharma participated in a key panel discussion at Aviation India 2025, emphasizing the crucial role of pilot training infrastructure, talent development, and technology integration in sustaining India’s fast-growing aviation industry.

  • Speaking during Day 2’s panel session, titled “Building India’s Next Generation of Pilots,” the discussion centered on how India’s flight training ecosystem must evolve to meet the surging demand for skilled aviators driven by record airline expansion and aircraft orders.
  • The session brought together leaders from flight training organizations (FTOs) such as Chimes Aviation Academy and Aero Guard Flight Training Center, airlines such as Indi Go, advanced pilot training groups such as CAE and Simaero and the Indian regulator DGCA, highlighting the need to focus on human capital development and retention within the pilot training ecosystem.
  • There was a clear alignment among stakeholders: India’s aviation growth will be driven not just by infrastructure but also by the quality and readiness of its human capital.
