India’s Flag Carrier, Air India, Launches Social Channels for Air India Training Academy

India’s flag carrier Air India has launched the social media channels for its Air India Training Academy – the 600,000 square foot campus in Gurugram will become one of the largest aviation training institutions in South East Asia.

With a mission to foster Industry-Ready Aviation Professionals through comprehensive training programs, we strive to integrate education, research, and industry collaboration, embodying the essence of our airline culture.

Our academy has been providing immersive learning experiences for Air India professionals through exposure to industry insights & expertise along with a strong focus on practical application. Our cutting-edge Pilot Simulator Facility caters to the training needs of Air India pilots while our versatile classroom centre is equipped to meet the varied training requirements covering the DGCA Curriculum, Specialised Airline Courses, and more.

With plans to start an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) School, we aim to give aspiring aviation professionals a launchpad to excel through top-tier training and mentorship.” stated Air India Training Academy.

Air India is planning to grow its fleet by 3x  and which according to its CEO Campell Wilson will on average, induct one aircraft joining the fleet every six days throughout 2024.

In April 2024 Air India Training Academy also shared that it is now accepting applications for the second batch of intake for its “Fly High Pilot Cadet Program”.
