India & Thailand – Indian regional airline FLY91 has hosted representatives from Acron Aviation’s Bangkok Training Center at its Goa headquarters for discussions covering pilot training and the organisations’ continuing association.
- The visiting Acron delegation included the Bangkok Training Center’s General Manager – Operations and Rahul Waghmare, Acron Aviation’s Sales Representative for India. FLY91 described Acron Aviation as an existing pilot training partner.
- Acron Aviation’s Bangkok Training Center currently operates eight full flight simulators: two ATR 72-600 devices, two ATR 72-500 devices, one Airbus A320 CEO/NEO device, two A320 CEO devices and one A330-200E device. The facility also operates fixed-base simulators and flat-panel trainers.
- The Bangkok centre offers type ratings, Type Rating Instructor courses, licence proficiency checks, Crew Resource Management Instructor training and wet and dry simulator leasing. It has operated since 1996 and provides both pilot and maintenance training for ATR and Airbus types.
- FLY91’s last officially confirmed fleet count was six ATR 72-600 aircraft following the induction of two additional aircraft in February 2026.
