India's Gen24 FLYBIZ Appoints Sachindra Jayawant as Chief Ground Instructor

India – Indian aviation training provider Gen24 FLYBIZ has appointed Sachindra Jayawant as Chief Ground Instructor at the Avion Flight Training Centre in Mumbai.

• Gen24 FLYBIZ's training centre at Juhu Airport currently houses three flight simulation training devices:
  • 2 Avion Airbus A320neo Level D full-flight simulators (FFS).
  • 1 Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator.
• The Mumbai facility offers Airbus A320 type rating, recurrent training and Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) training, alongside dry-lease and wet-lease simulator services for airlines and training organizations.
• AFM previously reported that Avion Group received its first DGCA approval for an Airbus A320 full-flight simulator at the Mumbai facility in March 2026, enabling type rating training under Indian regulatory standards.
• Gen24 FLYBIZ has also outlined plans to expand its Mumbai training infrastructure with additional Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 MAX full-flight simulators.
