India – Indian pilot training facilitator HM Aviation has outlined its international Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) training network, identifying flight school partners across the United States, New Zealand, the Philippines, and South Africa. The New Delhi-based organization is promoting the overseas training pathways to Indian students seeking professional pilot qualifications and subsequent DGCA licence conversion.

  • HM Aviation's latest announcement identifies six flight training organizations across four countries:
    • United States – 2FLY Airborne, operating flight training facilities in Florida.
    • New Zealand – Air Hawke's Bay, based at Hastings Aerodrome, and International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ), based at Christchurch International Airport.
    • Philippines – First Aviation Academy, operating from Subic Bay International Airport.
    • South Africa – Skyhawk Aviation, based at Lanseria International Airport near Johannesburg, and 4 Aviators, operating from Cape Town International Airport and Cape Winelands Airport.
  • HM Aviation provides prospective pilots with training pathway guidance, flight school selection assistance and student support throughout their overseas training arrangements. The organization is currently promoting free counselling services to applicants considering CPL training abroad.
  • The network includes both established and recently announced relationships. HM Aviation has maintained training partnerships with US-based 2FLY Airborne and New Zealand's Air Hawke's Bay for more than a decade, supporting Indian students undertaking overseas commercial pilot training.
  • AFM previously reported that HM Aviation partnered with First Aviation Academy in September 2026, introducing a Philippine CPL training option for Indian students. The arrangement combines HM Aviation's student preparation and support activities in India with practical flight training at the academy's Subic facility.
  • HM Aviation's professional pilot training pathway includes DGCA ground theory preparation in India, overseas commercial flight training incorporating instrument and multi-engine qualifications, followed by DGCA licence conversion. The organization also facilitates subsequent aircraft type rating and airline preparation training.
