India's HM Aviation Partners with First Aviation Academy for Flight Training in the Philippines

India & Philippines – New Delhi-based pilot training facilitator HM Aviation has partnered with First Aviation Academy (FAA) in the Philippines to offer a new overseas Commercial Pilot License (CPL) training pathway for Indian students. The arrangement adds the Philippines to HM Aviation's international flight-training network, linking its India-based training and student support with practical flying at First Aviation Academy's Subic operation.

• First Aviation Academy's published Basic Cadetship CPL-IR syllabus includes 167 hours of single-engine aircraft training and 46 hours on a Garmin G1000-equipped Redbird MCX simulator. The school states that the pathway covers Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License and Instrument Rating training.
• First Aviation Academy's training equipment includes Cessna 172 and Tecnam P2010 single-engine aircraft and the twin-engine Tecnam P2006T. Its listed synthetic training equipment includes Redbird MCX, TD2 G1000 and CE-510 devices, with its aircraft equipped for Garmin G1000 glass-cockpit training.
• HM Aviation's standard professional pilot pathway begins with DGCA ground theory covering subjects including Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology and Air Regulation, followed by CPL, multi-engine and instrument flight training overseas. Students subsequently progress through licence conversion, the DGCA application and, where applicable, type rating and airline preparation.
• The Philippines represents an additional overseas flight-training option for HM Aviation. Before the new collaboration, the organisation's published training network listed India, the United States, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa as flight-training locations.
• First Aviation Academy accepts foreign students and operates its principal flight-training facility at Subic Bay International Airport, with a Manila office in Makati. Its broader course portfolio includes PPL, CPL, Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Rating, Flight Instructor and Airline Transport Pilot Training pathways.
• The academy's Airline Transport Pilot Training program extends beyond the CPL-IR level to include Multi-Engine Rating, ATPL Ground Theory and Jet Orientation Training.
