India's Skynex Aero Appoints Rounak Kumar Singh as Marketing and Business Development Manager

India – DGCA-approved flight training organization Skynex Aero has appointed Rounak Kumar Singh as Manager – Marketing & Business Development. He joins after nearly four years at CAE, adding pilot-training sales and partnership experience as Skynex develops its aircraft fleet, student base and training locations.

  • Singh began the Skynex role in July 2026 after serving as a Sales Representative at CAE from September 2022 to July 2026 in Gurugram.
  • At Skynex, Singh will focus on relationships with airlines (Skynex recently signed a cadet program partnership with Akasa Air) and aviation-sector partners, commercial collaboration and career pathways for aspiring pilots.
  • Skynex currently lists 170-plus cadets in training, more than 95 completed CPL students and over 48,000 accumulated flying hours.
  • The academy’s current fleet page identifies 18 aircraft:
    • 15x Piper Archer DXs
    • 2x Cessna 172s
    • 1x Tecnam P2006T
  • Skynex holds DGCA FTO approval covering single- and multi-engine SPL, PPL, CPL, instrument and instructor training. Its approval identifies Jalgaon Airport as the main operating base and Dwarka, New Delhi, as the ground-school location, with validity through May 30, 2027.
  • The academy also provides access to a DGCA-compliant Redbird MCX simulator in Gurugram through an operational collaboration with Falcon Aviation Academy.
  • AFM previously reported that Skynex appointed Navneet Deswal as Deputy Chief Flight Instructor in July 2025 and had announced an order for 27 Piper Archer aircraft for delivery during 2024 and 2025.
