International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ) Adds Diamond DA42 to 2026 Fleet

New Zealand – Christchurch-based flight training organisation International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ) has added a Diamond DA42 Twin Star to its multi-engine training phase.

• IAANZ specifically identifies the aircraft as supporting IFR operations, multi-engine training and students preparing for DGCA India licence conversion. The academy states that the aircraft configuration is intended to provide a smoother transition for Indian students progressing through the multi-engine phase.
• IAANZ’s main fleet page currently lists 24 aircraft: five Piper PA-28-181 Archers, eight PA-28-161 Warriors, one Partenavia P68C, five Piper PA-38-112 Tomahawks, two Cessna 172s, one Alpha A160a, one Piper PA-28R-200 Arrow and one PA-28-140 Cherokee.
• Synthetic training infrastructure at IAANZ includes a Frasca Piper Seminole G1000 NXi training device, Pacific Simulators EuroJet PS4.5 modelled on the Airbus A320 flight deck, and Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 procedure training equipment.
