New Zealand – The International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ), headquartered in Christchurch and an Air New Zealand preferred training provider, has welcomed its March 2026 cadet intake — eight new students commencing pilot training at the academy's Christchurch facility.

  • The March 2026 intake of eight cadets follows IAANZ's first 2026 intake in February, which welcomed 25 students — and continues the academy's pattern of multiple sequential intake cohorts across the calendar year, reflecting sustained enrolment demand from both domestic and international pilot candidates.
  • The academy has been actively expanding its international partnerships, including a cooperation agreement signed with Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) in July 2025 during New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon's visit to Vietnam — focused on training high-quality pilots for Vietnam's aviation industry and the broader region.
