International Flight Academy in Portugal Joins FTD.aero’s Customer Base

Portugal –Following a thorough evaluation and a successful test session on one of FTD.aero-built simulators, IFA - International Flight Academy has contracted FTD.aero to build, deliver and install a B73M FNPT II MCC FSTD at their training facility at Viseu Airport (LPVZ), Portugal.

The device will feature several advanced upgrades and OEM aircraft components, creating a highly realistic cockpit environment that closely replicates a modern twin-jet airliner. Once qualified under EASA FNPT II MCC regulations (expected in early 2026), the simulator will support Airline Pilot Standard (APS) MCC training — delivering airline-ready cadets.

FTD.aero will also be exhibiting at Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) at booth #501, taking place in Singapore between 26th-27th of August.
