Italian Pilot Training Group, Aviomar Flight Academy, is Looking to Expand its Synthetic Flight Instructor/Examiner Team

Aviomar Flight Academy is a fast growing flight academy and pilot training group in Rome, Italy offering type rating training for a range of business and commercial aviation aircraft types. To support growth, the Academy is seeking Simulator (FFS) Instructors for Business Aviation aircraft types in the Monterotondo Training Centre. Costs for Type Rating, SFI/SFE training will be covered by the ATO. Please see an extract of the job post below.

“The ideal candidate will support the training department providing quality training in Classroom, IPTs and Full Flight Simulators.

Responsibilities

Conduct type rating training in classroom and FFS at our Monterotondo Training Centre in compliance with the applicable requirements;Coordinate needs and requirements with trainees and all departments of the ATO;Support the FSTD Technical department in conducting simulator fly outs and qualification evaluation checks

Requirements

Must hold the right to live and work in the EU. No visa sponsorship available.Must hold or have held an EASA ATPL(A) licenseMust have at least 500 hours as PIC on single pilot aircraftMust have operated as Airline Captain within an established international airlineTotal flight time: 3500 hours MPA or moreFull time only consideredExcellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and written communicationExcellent command of English language (oral)Resident in the Rome/Lazio region.

Preferential Qualifications

Hold or have a held an Instructor certificate in accordance with EU Part FCLExperience in Business AviationCommand of Portuguese language”
