Italy – Aviomar Flight Academy is seeking to recruit Learjet 45/75 Simulator Flight Instructors for full- or part-time on-site positions supporting its business aviation training activity. The recruitment adds instructional capacity around Aviomar’s Level D Learjet 45 simulator, supporting initial and recurrent type training.

About the Role

Aviomar Flight Academy is seeking Simulator Flight Instructors – Learjet 45/75 for a full or part time, on-site positions.

  • The successful candidate will deliver ground instruction, technical briefings, initial and recurrent training sessions and post-session debriefings using a Learjet 45 Level D Full Flight Simulator.
  • Training will be provided to pilots with different levels of operational experience, from applicants completing their initial type rating to experienced flight crew attending recurrent or refresher training.
  • The instructor will also support the Chief Instructor with standardisation activities, course development and the continuous improvement of training standards.Aviomar Flight Academy will sponsor the successful candidate’s Learjet 45/75 type-rating revalidation or renewal, where required, as well as the applicable SFI/TRI training course.
  • Subject to operational requirements and individual eligibility, the position may also offer the opportunity to progress towards examiner privileges.
  • The role requires availability to work on weekends according to the published training schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Learjet 45/75 ground instruction and technical briefings.
  • Conduct initial, recurrent, refresher and supplementary simulator training.
  • Provide structured and constructive post-session debriefings.
  • Train pilots with varying levels of experience and operational backgrounds.
  • Assess trainee performance in accordance with approved training programmes and regulatory requirements (CBTA).
  • Complete the required training records and documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Support the Chief Instructor with instructor standardisation and training-quality activities.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of course materials and training procedures.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism and regulatory compliance.

Minimum QualificationsApplicants must:

  • Hold, or have previously held, an EASA or Third Country ATPL(A).
  • Hold, or have previously held, a Learjet 45 or Learjet 75 type rating.
  • Have operational experience as Pilot-in-Command or Captain on commercial aircraft.
  • Have the right to live and work in the EU.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in commercial airline or business aviation operations.
  • Experience on the Learjet 45/75 aircraft.
  • Sound knowledge of multi-pilot operations, crew cooperation and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, objective and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multicultural training environment.
  • Excellent command of the English language (Speaking + Writing)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience delivering type-rating or recurrent simulator training.
  • Experience as a Type Rating Examiner or Synthetic Flight Examiner.
  • Additional instructional or checking experience.
  • Familiarity with competency-based training and assessment principles.
