Italy – Italian flight training organization Aviomar Flight Academy has welcomed its October 2026 intake of students into its Ryanair Future Flyer Academy Ab-Initio and Integrated ATPL training programs. The new group is commencing professional pilot training under the guidance of Capt. Roberto Taras, continuing the Rome-based academy's airline-oriented pilot training activities.

  • The latest intake comprises 28 students across the two training pathways.
  • Aviomar's Ryanair Future Flyer Academy Ab-Initio pathway incorporates Integrated ATPL training aligned with Ryanair's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Crew Resource Management (CRM) requirements. The syllabus includes 838 hours of theoretical instruction and 223 hours of practical training, including aircraft and simulator sessions.
  • The Ryanair program is structured over approximately 24–36 months, leading to an EASA Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR), Multi-Engine Rating and Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) certificate. Students receive a conditional job offer at enrollment, with successful candidates progressing to a Ryanair-sponsored Boeing 737 type rating following the airline's final assessment.
  • Aviomar's separate Integrated ATPL program provides 750 hours of theoretical instruction and 223 hours of practical training, including 40 hours of APS MCC training on an Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 simulator. The program prepares students for EASA commercial pilot licensing and airline selection.
