Italy – EASA-approved flight training organisation Professional Aviation Academy has welcomed 18 students from Air Arabia Academy into its July 2026 course in Italy. The intake adds another group to the cross-border training relationship supporting Air Arabia’s future pilot pipeline.
- Professional Aviation and Air Arabia Academy established a training partnership under which Air Arabia cadets undertake primary and core flight training at the Italian academy’s facilities. The collaboration began accepting cadets in early 2025.
- Professional Aviation operates from FlyOzzano Airfield at Ozzano dell’Emilia, near Bologna. Its campus includes hangars, maintenance and refuelling facilities, student accommodation and dedicated training spaces.
- The academy operates a fleet of more than 30 aircraft and helicopters. Fleet types include the Tecnam P2008, Tecnam P2006T, Tecnam P92, Mudry CAP 10 and Guimbal Cabri G2.
- Professional Aviation reported approximately 18,000 flight hours and nearly 60 Commercial Pilot Licence graduates during 2025, after adding more than ten Tecnam aircraft to support increased training activity.
