Jordan – flight simulator manufacturer CAE has announced that Royal Jordanian-owned Jordan Airline Training & Simulation will add its first CAE-built Airbus A320 full flight simulator. The device will expand A320 training capacity as Royal Jordanian continues introducing A320neo-family aircraft.

  • The training center currently lists an Airbus A320ceo FFS and an Embraer E2 FFS, both holding EASA qualification.
  • JATS introduced its existing Thales-manufactured A320-200 FFS in 2007. The device supports A320 type-rating, instructor and recurrent training under Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission frameworks.
  • AFM previously reported that JATS received a CAE-built Embraer E2 full flight simulator in September 2024, supporting Royal Jordanian’s introduction of the aircraft family.
  • Royal Jordanian acquired full ownership of JATS in 2023.
