Jetliner Aero Partners with Excellentia Airline Academy in South Africa

United Arab Emirates & South Africa – UAE aviation training consultancy Jetliner Aero has formed a partnership with Johannesburg-based flight training group Excellentia Airline Academy to offer pilot training pathways in South Africa.

• The partnership gives Jetliner Aero applicants access to an academy reporting a fleet of nearly 30 aircraft across its Aeronav Academy and Skyhawk Aviation operations. Published aircraft types include the Sling NGT, Cessna 172, Piper Archer, Piper Seneca III, Diamond DA20-C1 and Diamond DA42 Twin Star.
• Excellentia operates from Grand Central Airport and Lanseria International Airport in the Johannesburg area. Flight training is conducted under ATO licences held by group subsidiaries Skyhawk Aviation and Aeronav Academy.
• The academy offers Private Pilot Licence, Night Rating, Instrument Rating, multi-engine, Commercial Pilot Licence and flight instructor training. Its published combined commercial pathway includes 210 flight hours, 65 simulator hours and an expected duration of approximately 18 months.
• Excellentia’s synthetic training infrastructure comprises two ALSIM devices, including an ALX configured to represent multiple aircraft classes and flight models for training from ab-initio phases through jet orientation. The second device’s model was not identified on the academy’s current simulator page.
• Jetliner Aero provides prospective students with training-provider selection, admissions and visa-support services. Its existing portfolio includes fixed-wing and helicopter licence program's, modular and integrated pathways, type ratings and aircraft maintenance engineering courses.
• Excellentia reported approximately 100 students in training in July 2026, with around 95% coming from international markets and India representing its largest source market.
• Jetliner Aero launched as a UAE-based consultancy connecting students from the Middle East, Asia and Africa with overseas pilot and maintenance training providers.
