USA – Visionary Training Resources (VTR), a virtual reality aviation training technology provider, announced a new partnership with Kalitta Air to deploy its FlightDeckToGo VR platform across Kalitta's Boeing 777 fleet for flight operations and maintenance training.

  • For Flight Operations, FlightDeckToGo allows Kalitta pilots to rehearse B777 flight deck procedures and flows via guided in-headset instruction before entering the simulator; for Maintenance, the platform supports engine start training and abnormal procedures without requiring simulator or aircraft access.
  • AFM previously reported that VTR merged with Reaction Simulation in April 2025 to bring VR product development in-house, and separately received a method patent for its FlightDeckToGo training system in March 2025.

  • "We're thrilled to welcome Kalitta Air as a partner.
