Türkiye – KEYVAN Aviation, one of only four EASA-approved aeronautical data providers worldwide and the first in Türkiye, has announced a strategic partnership with IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organisation), one of the world's largest online flight simulation networks, to integrate KEYVAN's EASA-approved navigation data into the IVAO ecosystem.

  • The partnership will see KEYVAN Aviation's certified aeronautical database — covering over 32,000 airport aerodromes and 25,000 heliport and helipad aerodromes worldwide — integrated into IVAO's virtual air traffic control and pilot simulation network. The data is processed in the industry-standard ARINC 424 format and updated in line with the 28-day AIRAC cycle used by real-world airlines and avionics manufacturers.
  • KEYVAN Aviation holds an EASA Type 1 DAT Provider Certificate, received in February 2022, confirming compliance with EU Regulation 2017/373 and international standards ED-76A (DO-200B). This certification guarantees the accuracy, traceability, and integrity of the data used by avionics systems, ATC customers, flight planning companies, and flight simulators.
  • For the IVAO community, the integration enhances operational realism by aligning virtual ATC operations with the same high-fidelity data used by real-world airlines, strengthens technical integrity through synchronised AIRAC cycle updates, and improves overall data reliability across the simulation network.
  • The partnership is relevant to the pilot training industry as virtual aviation networks such as IVAO are increasingly used by ab-initio students and flight training organisations as supplementary tools for procedural training, communication practice, and airspace familiarity. The integration of certified real-world navigation data elevates the training value of simulation-based practice.
  • KEYVAN Aviation has been expanding its footprint across both military and civil aviation. In February 2026, the company was highlighted for providing aeronautical data to Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) for the KAAN next-generation fighter aircraft programme throughout its development and testing phases.
