Kentucky, USA — KORE Aviation has announced a new affiliate partnership with Hangar One Flight Company, a Part 61 flight school based at Hopkinsville Christian County Airport (KHVC) in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Through the partnership, Hangar One students will receive an exclusive 10% discount on KORE Aviation products, expanding access to reliable pilot communication equipment as they progress through flight training.
Founded by Benjamin McCarty, Hangar One Flight Company was created around a personalized approach to flight instruction. The school provides one on one training tailored to each student’s goals, whether they are learning to fly for themselves, adding a new rating, or preparing for a professional aviation career.
Hangar One currently provides training for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, CFI, CFII, MEI, and multi engine operations, along with flight reviews, checkride preparation, and recurrent proficiency training. With a four aircraft fleet and a flexible Part 61 training model, the school focuses on giving students a clear path forward based on their experience, schedule, goals, and budget.
“We built Hangar One around the idea that every student should have a training experience that reflects where they want to go in aviation,” said Ben McCarty, Founder of Hangar One Flight Company. “Our students also need dependable resources and equipment outside of individual lessons. Partnering with KORE Aviation allows us to add another practical benefit for our students and give them access to pilot gear they can use throughout their training.”
The partnership extends beyond individual flight lessons. Hangar One provides current students with access to training resources and partner benefits between flights, helping them find useful tools, study resources, aviation gear, and other opportunities as they progress through training. Through the new partnership, KORE Aviation will become part of that growing student benefit network.
For KORE Aviation, the partnership reflects its continued commitment to supporting student pilots and flight schools across the country. KORE Aviation already partners with more than 30 flight schools nationwide, working with schools and instructors to make reliable pilot communication equipment more accessible throughout the training journey.
“Hangar One’s emphasis on individual instruction and supporting students beyond their time in the airplane really stood out to us,” said Min Kim, President of KORE Aviation. “Ben and his team understand that becoming a pilot is a journey, and students benefit from having the right instruction, resources, and equipment along the way. We are excited to welcome Hangar One to the KORE Aviation flight school community and support their students as they continue building their skills.”
The partnership represents a shared commitment to making flight training more supportive and accessible. By combining Hangar One’s personalized approach to instruction with KORE Aviation’s focus on dependable pilot communication equipment, both organizations aim to give students another resource they can rely on from their first lessons through advanced training.
