L3Harris Technologies and Paramount Aviation Services Team to increase access to Pilot Training on new Boeing 737NG simulator

14th Sep 2021

L3Harris Technologies and Paramount Aviation Services have teamed to increase access to pilot training on a new Boeing 737NG flight simulator.

The companies reached a housing and maintenance agreement for the L3Harris manufactured simulator, which is located at Paramount’s Miami Airport flight training facility.

The Boeing 737NG full flight simulator creates an immersive experience to ready pilots for commercial flight. Beginning in November, L3Harris will use the simulator to help address the increased demand for Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program courses, which help to increase the supply of new pilots as the aviation industry shows signs of recovery.

The simulator also will be available to airlines looking to outsource training. Time on the simulator will be offered to all Paramount customers.

“The simulator at Paramount increases our presence in North America’s commercial flight training market,” said Robin Glover-Faure, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Commercial Aviation, L3Harris. “As the airline industry recovers, L3Harris is well positioned to continue this training using our high-fidelity simulators available around the globe.”

Vincent La Forgia, President and Chief Executive Officer at Paramount Aviation Services explained, “this 737NG simulator is a key addition to Paramount’s 12-bay facility and complements our rapidly increasing inventory of simulators. We are proud to have been selected by L3Harris as part of their expansion plans, allowing Paramount to enhance its already excellent customer relationships.”
