Largest Pilot Training Group in the Philippines, Alpha Aviation Group, Inducts First Batch of Cadet Pilots for 2023
Eight (8) more cadets were inducted to the Alpha Aviation Group (AAG) Airline Pilot Program (APP) on 17 January 2023. Joining this first intake for the year is another cadet who will undergo PPL training under AAG’s modular programs and courses.
“We welcome the new year with so much enthusiasm and optimism as AAG continues to be the pilot training solutions provider-of-choice of more and more young men and women wanting to become world-class aviation professionals in the future,” shares Cristopher Magdangal (Group Chief Operating Officer) in an issued statement.
In his welcome remarks, Capt. Napoleon Garcia (Accountable Manager, AICAT Approved Maintenance Organization) assured the cadets and their parents of the Group’s commitment to the highest standards of aircraft maintenance. “The safety of our cadet pilots is our topmost priority,” Garcia adds.
The APP dubbed as the “Zero to Hero” program covers CPL-IR-ATPL Theory-A320 Type Rating. The CPL-IR phase is delivered by the AAG International Center for Aviation Training (AICAT) while the A320 Type Rating phase is conducted at the AAG Philippines (AAGP) Simulator Training Center. AICAT and AAGP operate the largest fleet of basic flight trainer aircraft and simulator training devices in the country.
