Malaysia – Aviation education provider ADMAL Aviation College has selected Denmark-based flight training management software developer FlightLogger as the digital operating platform for its pilot training division, ADMAL Flying Academy. The system will support the standardisation of training, compliance and operational processes as the academy expands its flight training activities.
- Established in June 2025, ADMAL Flying Academy operates from Kuala Terengganu under Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) approval ATO.FTO.17/25. The academy provides Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) and frozen ATPL training, with ground school instruction delivered through ADMAL Aviation College in Sepang.
- FlightLogger will digitise student training records and progression tracking across pilot and engineering programs, while standardising scheduling for aircraft, instructors, classrooms and workshops.
- The implementation will also support aircraft maintenance monitoring, regulatory compliance documentation and reporting for CAAM and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- ADMAL identified the need to replace fragmented administrative systems and manual processes with a centralised platform that provides management with visibility into training activity, resource utilisation and student throughput. The platform is intended to support consistent operational oversight as the college and flying academy expand.
- The selected solution includes FlightLogger's Business Insights and FlightLogger Maintenance modules, providing operational reporting, resource utilisation monitoring and maintenance management within the same platform.
- AFM previously reported that FlightLogger introduced automated training prerequisites and aircraft-model certificate controls in September 2026, enabling flight schools to incorporate student eligibility and instructor qualification requirements into their daily scheduling and training progression workflows.
