Malaysia's MAB Academy Welcomes 39 Candidates to Cadet Pilot Pre-Enrolment in September 2026

Malaysia – Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) training subsidiary MAB Academy welcomed 39 aspiring pilots to its Cadet Pilot Pre-Enrolment Programme in September 2026, introducing the candidates to the training pathway and requirements ahead of their formal progression into cadet pilot training.

• The intake adds to MAG's wider 2026 pilot-training pipeline. AFM previously reported that MAB Academy planned to recruit 144 cadet pilots during 2026 and had 141 active cadets undergoing training as of April 1.
• AFM previously reported that MAB Academy onboarded a separate group of 17 cadet pilots at its Sepang campus in July 2026 before their progression to assigned flying schools.

About MAB Academy
MAB Academy Sdn Bhd is the training and development subsidiary of Malaysia Aviation Group, based at the Southern Support Zone near Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang. Its origins date to the Malaysia Airlines Academy established in 1994, while MAB Academy was launched as a separate MAG subsidiary in 2017.
