Mexican Airline Expands FFS Training Center in 2025

Mexico – global operator of full flight simulator training center's Avenger Flight Group (AFG) has congratulated its airline partner Viva on the reinauguration and expansion of the airline’s Center of Excellence in Monterrey, a development that strengthens Mexico’s simulator training capacity and supports growing A320 pilot-training demand in the region.

• The expanded facility now houses three A320 simulators (2x FFS and 1x FTD), making it the only training centre in Mexico to operate three devices dedicated to the Airbus A320 family.
• Upgrades include modernised training areas, enhanced collaborative spaces and refreshed technical infrastructure to support higher trainee throughput and improved instructor–student workflows.
