Indiana, USA – iFly Escuela de Vuelo, a Mexico-based flight training organization founded by airline captain Julian Esquivel Calvillo, has announced the acquisition of Eagle Aircraft Flight Academy in Valparaiso, Indiana, marking a significant step in its international expansion and strategic commitment to cross-border pilot training.
- The acquisition strengthens iFly’s presence in the United States, positioning the school to serve both Latin, Central and North American markets with harmonized training programs aligned to FAA and Mexican DGAC standards.
- Eagle Aircraft Flight Academy, located at Porter County Regional Airport (KVPZ), has been a well-established FAA Part 141 flight training institution, offering programs from Private Pilot License (PPL) through Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certification.
- The flight training organisation was founded in 1979, having trained over 2,000 pilots and has affiliations with liberty University and Valparaiso University.
- Fleet includes Cessna 172, Cessna 150 and Tecnam P2010
