Middle East Pilot Simulator Training Center, Emirates CAE Flight Training, is Looking for a Simulator Support Technician

Emirates CAE Flight Training is looking for a regular full-time Simulator Support Technician to be based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Please see an extract of the job role below.

"Role

As a Simulator Support Technician TECH01 the incumbent performs routine technical tasks on site. The individual will receive training in the various phases of field technical work. Contribute to the team to ensure that all Training devices are maintained as per their qualification standard and in line with ECFT quality guidelines and procedures. In addition to defined job functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties that may be reasonably required for the smooth operation of ECFT Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist to update monthly NDB, Charts, Checklist etc. as guided by senior engineers. Perform majority of Preventive Maintenance (PMT) tasks independently on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Refer schematics and assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems. Utilize Maintenance Management System -Gemini to record and track maintenance activities.
• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required. Ensure interiors and exteriors of simulators are maintained tidy.
• Perform preflight checks on all simulators and promptly sign off morning readiness when required. Run QTG as per preventive maintenance schedule. Get them verified by engineer in shift.
• Pursue continued professional growth and training from senior colleagues."
