Jordan – Jordan Airline Training & Simulation, the aviation training academy and full flight simulator training center, hosted a delegation from Yemen’s Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority for an assessment intended to approve JATS as an Approved Training Organization. Approval would allow the Amman-based center to expand regulator-recognized training services for Yemeni airlines and aviation personnel.

JATS currently operates two EASA-qualified full flight simulators covering the Airbus A320ceo and Embraer E190-E2. Its facilities also include 19 classrooms with capacity for 300 trainees per shift, cabin evacuation equipment and aircraft door trainers.
JATS said the assessment followed its completion of Maintenance Training Organization accreditation audits. Its published approvals include an EASA Part-147 approval and a JATS Maintenance Training Organization approval.
The center also lists approvals from the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission and aviation authorities in Iraq, Libya and Syria.
