Myanmar Operator Selects CBT Vendor in 2025

Myanmar – Myanmar Airways International (MAI) has partnered with Avsoft International to implement a suite of computer-based training (CBT) solutions for its flight crew. The collaboration makes Avsoft the first CBT provider to enter the Myanmar commercial aviation market, reinforcing MAI’s efforts to modernise and align its training standards with international benchmarks.

• MAI will use Avsoft’s CBT courses for the A320-200, ATR 72-600, and ERJ-190 aircraft types, covering aircraft systems and operations.
• In addition to aircraft-specific training, MAI gains access to Avsoft’s General Subjects library, supporting a broader foundation of aviation knowledge.
• All content will be delivered through Avsoft’s proprietary Learning Management System (avLMS), a platform developed specifically for aviation training environments.
• The avLMS allows MAI to assign, track, and manage pilot training activity efficiently, with built-in reporting tools to ensure regulatory compliance.
• This move reflects MAI’s strategy to adopt scalable, digitally-enabled learning tools that support continuous professional development for its flight crew.
