National Flight Training Alliance Appoints Pilot Institute Co-Founder Greg Reverdiau to Board

USA – The National Flight Training Alliance has appointed Pilot Institute Co-Founder and Head of Training Greg Reverdiau to its Board of Directors. The appointment adds online education, flight-school management and instructor experience to NFTA’s work on training standards, regulatory modernization and workforce access.

  • Pilot Institute reports that it has trained more than 450,000 aviation students through over 60 online courses, with a 99.9% first-attempt FAA written examination pass rate.
  • NFTA plans to formally announce the appointment during a press conference at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on July 22, 2026, at 1:00pm Central Time.
  • Reverdiau is an FAA Industry Partner, FAASTeam Representative and DronePro supporting aviation safety outreach associated with the Scottsdale Flight Standards District Office.
  • His FAA certificates include Commercial Pilot privileges for single- and multi-engine aircraft, Certified Flight Instructor and Remote Pilot.
  • Reverdiau previously worked in university aviation education and flight-school management, including roles at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida Institute of Technology and North-Aire Aviation. He holds a master’s degree in Aviation Human Factors and a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science.
  • NFTA’s current policy work includes FAA Part 141 modernization, legislative advocacy, pilot mental health and wellness, training access and aviation workforce development.
