Nelson Aviation College to Join Air New Zealand Career Evenings in August 2026

New Zealand – Nelson Aviation College will participate in Air New Zealand’s Pilot Career Evenings in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch in August 2026. The events connect prospective students with airline pilots and Air New Zealand preferred flight training organisations, supporting early-stage pilot recruitment and training-pathway awareness.

• Three events are scheduled:
  • Wellington: August 6, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at Wellington International Airport.
  • Auckland: August 13, from 4:00pm to 8:30pm at the Air New Zealand Academy of Learning.
  • Christchurch: August 20, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at Air New Zealand Hangar 1.
• The Auckland event will offer two sessions, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The Christchurch event will cover both pilot and engineering career pathways.
• Attendees will be able to speak with Air New Zealand pilots and preferred flight training organisations about training options, airline recruitment processes and flight-deck careers.
• Nelson Aviation College is an Air New Zealand preferred flight training organisation and delivers the airline’s Airline Integration Course at Nelson Airport.
