New 2025 Time-Building Program Offers Airline Career Progression for Low-Hour Pilots in USA

USA – low-cost airline Breeze Airways has officially launched Breeze Lift, a time-building pilot program in partnership with SkyShare, a Utah-based Part 135 operator and fractional ownership provider. The initiative offers pilots a structured route to eventually become First Officers with Breeze Airways, starting with PC-12 operations under SkyShare.

  • Pilots in the program are employed by SkyShare and operate Pilatus PC-12 aircraft to transport Breeze aircraft parts and team members across the U.S.
  • Entry-level First Officers start on a $30,000 annual salary while flying for SkyShare under Part 135 operations
  • Upon upgrading to Captain and completing a 135.299 line check, pilots receive a Breeze seniority number
  • After 18 months as a PC-12 Captain, Lift pilots are placed into the pool for a Breeze Airways First Officer training class in Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Candidates must reside (or relocate) within a one-hour radius of Charleston International Airport (CHS)
  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Captains must have 1,500+ hours with at least 300 hours in the PC-12 with 100 of that as PIC

    • First Officers must have 1,200+ hours

    • Must live or be willing to quickly relocate within one hour of CHS Airport

    • Must be willing to fly an 8 on, 6 off rotation
