New B737 MAX-8 Simulator Agreement Between Havelsan and Boeing

21st Dec 2025

Turkiye – As part of the new agreement signed with Boeing, HAVELSAN is adding the B737 MAX-8 Full Flight Simulator to its production line through the direct procurement of a Boeing simulation data package.

To date, HAVELSAN’s B737 MAX simulators have been developed using buyer-furnished data provided by customers. With this new agreement, HAVELSAN will manage the simulator development process by directly procuring the required data package from Boeing for simulators to be developed for potential customers. This approach allows for a more integrated and streamlined development process, while reinforcing compliance with OEM standards.

Earlier this year in June, HAVELSAN announced that Turkish Airlines has placed a follow-on order of another Boeing 737 MAX Full Flight Simulator to be delivered in January 2026 – read more here. This expands the agreement signed with HAVELSAN in 2018, Turkish Airlines originally planned to procure a total of eleven training devices consisting of three A320neo/ceo, two B737 MAX Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and six Flight Training Devices (FTD).

In addition to manufacturing Boeing flight simulator’s HAVELSAN also operates Boeing flight devices with an example being its training center partnership with Turkish Airlines which operates Boeing devices in Ankara since 2023.

In 2024 HAVELSAN announced it would ramp up activities and support for airlines and simulator training centers including the ability to manufacturer up to eight full flight simulators per year as well as work with airlines to support them expanding their simulator training center operations through flexible solutions.

HAVELSAN is especially putting focus on providing industry leading after sales support, discussing with customers long-term cooperation projects and this has been well received by airlines and training centers with HAVELSAN currently having over six full flight simulators under construction.
