Australia – Entrol, the Spain-based manufacturer of EASA- and FAA-certified FNPT, FTD and FFS flight simulators, has announced the sale and upcoming delivery of an H135 P2+ helicopter simulator to The Aerotech Group, a major Australian aviation services operator. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) was completed at the end of September 2025, with installation scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. The device will support both internal and external pilot training programmes.
- The simulator is customised to replicate the exact cockpit layout used by The Aerotech Group’s H135 fleet, providing a high-fidelity environment that strengthens pilot familiarisation and reduces transition time to line operations.
- Equipped with Garmin GTN 750 Xi and GTN 650 Xi avionics, the simulator enables realistic flight planning, situational awareness exercises, and instrument-procedure training aligned with H135 P2+ operational requirements.
- The cylindrical visual system delivers a 200° x 40° field of view using three projectors and includes a detailed, high-resolution Australian database featuring 10 major airports, such as Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane.
- The device is suitable for IFR and MCC training, supporting a wide spectrum of rotorcraft operational scenarios.
- A vibration system further enhances immersion by simulating airframe feedback and flight-environment cues.
