New Mission Crew Simulator for Electronic Warfare Platform Approved and Delivered to US Air Force in 2025

November 12, 2025

Virginia, USA – BAE Systems has delivered a Compass Call Mission Crew Simulator for the EA-37B electronic warfare aircraft to the U.S. Air Force, following U.S. Air Force approval for training use. Developed in collaboration with Textron Systems Corporation, the device provides a high-fidelity tactical environment that supports interim fielding and strengthens crew readiness for complex electronic attack missions.

  • The simulator replicates the EA-37B’s controls, displays and mission systems to enable realistic training in electronic warfare operations, mission planning, communications, and decision-making.
  • Its 24/7 availability reduces dependence on live-flight sorties, preserving aircraft availability and lowering training-related operational costs.
