New South Asian Airline Secures Long-Term A320 FFS Training Capacity in Dubai

United Arab Emirates – CAE has signed a five-year exclusive A320 pilot-training agreement with Air Karachi, a new Pakistan-based airline preparing to begin operations. Under the partnership, Air Karachi’s flight crews will undergo Airbus A320 training at the Emirates CAE Flight Training (ECFT) centre in Dubai, one of the region’s major simulator training hubs.

  • The agreement provides Air Karachi with secured access to ECFT’s A320 training capacity, supporting the airline’s entry-into-service requirements and early operational growth.
  • ECFT delivers A320 type-rating, recurrent and advanced training using a suite of full-flight simulators
  • Air Karachi plans to induct at least three Airbus A320 aircraft for its initial launch phase, operating first on domestic Pakistani routes.
