USA – Pan American World Airways, a revival of the iconic airline brand, has partnered with Avenger Flight Group (AFG) to deliver simulator-based pilot training as it progresses toward obtaining FAA Part 121 certification. The agreement positions AFG as a trusted training vendor for Pan Am's future Airbus fleet operations.
- Training will be conducted at AFG’s facilities in Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida
- The partnership supports Pan Am’s efforts to become a FAA-certified Part 121 flag carrier, operating Airbus family aircraft
- AFG will provide access to its Airbus Full Flight Simulators and Flight Training Devices
- This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the re-establishment of Pan Am, which operated from 1927 until its closure in 1991
Pan Am will also be using the Airbus Miami Training Center according to Pan American World Airways Co Founder Ed Wegel. Statements
