Ohio, USA – Midwest Corporate Air, an Ohio-based accelerated flight training organisation and Authorized Cirrus Training Center, has taken delivery of a new ALSIM ALSR G7 simulator, directly expanding its instrument rating training capability with Cirrus-specific simulation infrastructure.

  • The ALSIM ALSR G7 is a full replica of the Cirrus SR Series G7 aircraft family, covering the SR20, SR22, and SR22T, and features the Cirrus Perspective Touch+™ avionics system with real Garmin GDU 1450W 12", GTC585, and GFC700 Autopilot hardware — providing a direct bridge to the live Cirrus aircraft.
  • The simulator also supports simulation of the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System® (CAPS®) and includes a Garmin® GMA 350C® all-digital audio panel, enabling emergency procedure training specific to the Cirrus platform.
  • The acquisition supports Midwest Corporate Air's accelerated instrument rating training programmes, enabling students to complete IR training more efficiently using a type-accurate simulation environment before transitioning to the aircraft.
