Ohio State University is looking for a Senior Flight Instructor

The Senior Flight Instructor provides flight instruction per Federal Aviation Regulations (FAA) guidelines 61 and 141 in both the classroom and flight laboratories; evaluates student performance as a check instructor; tests students for knowledge; makes recommendations for further training; maintains accurate records; assists Chief Instructor with TCO revisions; assists with the operation of the FAA Computer-Aided Testing System (CATS) Test Center as acting as test proctor.

Required Experience:

FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with an instrument rating and a Certified Flight Instructor Certificate; instructional activity within the previous 12 months and experience with a flight school certified through 14 FR Part 141

Desired Experience:

Obtain Flight Instructor-Instrument certification; 2 years’ experience as a CFI or 200 hours of dual instruction given strongly desired; experience with OSU’s 14 CFR Part 141 flight school strongly
