Oman Aviation Academy Appoints Drago Vasiljevic as Safety Manager

Oman – Oman Aviation Academy (OAA) has appointed Drago Vasiljevic as Safety Manager.

OAA is the first flight training institution established in the Sultanate. The academy delivers the frozen Airline Transport Pilot License training program (ATPL) for ab-initio cadets, in line with the Oman Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency regulations (EASA). It operates a fleet of Diamond DA40 NG, Diamond DA42 NG, Pipistrel Virus SW121A aircraft, and Boeing 737 MAX, DA42 and DA40 simulators and a virtual-reality training system. 

AFM previously reported that OAA received EASA ATO certification in February 2024.
