United Kingdom – Oxford Airline Training (OAT), a UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Approved Training Organisation, has welcomed another Diamond DA42 twin-engine aircraft, registered G-OATF, to its fleet at London Oxford Airport in October 2026. The aircraft is currently undergoing livery work before joining the academy's flight training operations, providing additional capacity for advanced modular pilot training.

  • G-OATF is expected to support Multi-Engine Piston (MEP) class rating and Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) training. OAT also intends to use the expanded fleet to accommodate pilots seeking rating renewals and revalidations.
  • AFM previously reported that Oxford Airline Training received two additional aircraft in August 2026, alongside the introduction of its new Diamond DA42 fleet livery on aircraft G-OATA. The latest announcement identifies G-OATF as a further addition to its expanding training operations.
  • OAT's previously reported training inventory in August 2026 comprised six Diamond DA42 TDI aircraft, one Super Decathlon used for Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (AUPRT), two Diamond DA42 TDI FNPT II simulators, one Airbus A320 FTD1 and one Boeing 737NG FTD1.
