United Kingdom – Oxford Airline Training (OAT) has, for the first time, conducted Airbus A320 and Boeing 737NG APS MCC training concurrently at its London Oxford Airport facility, with one cohort completing its course while the second continued training.

  • OAT began APS MCC operations in March 2026, when its inaugural course started on the Boeing 737NG device ahead of the academy's original schedule. The organization subsequently introduced regular A320 and B737NG courses for modular commercial pilot trainees.
  • OAT has also published 12 APS MCC course starts between January 5 and June 8, 2027, alternating between six A320 and six B737NG courses. Each course is scheduled over 18 days including rest days.
  • AFM previously reported that OAT acquired an MPS Airbus A320 FTD and an MPS Boeing 737NG FTD for its London Oxford Airport training center, supporting APS MCC, MCC instructor and other modular professional pilot training activities.
  • Each OAT APS MCC course includes 30 hours of TKI and 40 hours of simulator training. The A320 course is delivered on the academy's A320 FTD1 and the B737NG course on its Boeing 737NG FTD1 under UK CAA approval GBR.ATO.0586.
