United Kingdom – Aviation theory training publisher Padpilot is highlighting the capabilities of its Padpilot Academy platform, an integrated ATPL(A) ground-school solution designed for Approved Training Organisations (ATOs). The company is also preparing to showcase the platform at EATS 2026 in Portugal, supported by results from an 18-month collaboration with UK flight training organisation Leading Edge Aviation.
- Over the past 18 months, Leading Edge Aviation has used Padpilot's Air Law eLearning module as part of its blended theoretical knowledge training approach, achieving a 100% pass rate and an average pass mark of 93%.
- Padpilot Academy covers all 13 ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge subjects across 16 modules, with content aligned to UK CAA, EASA and GCAA requirements. It brings together interactive digital textbooks, computer-based training, assessment tools and student progress monitoring under a single login.
- For ATOs, the platform includes a learning management hub with course progression tracking, progress tests, mock examinations, reading-time data, exportable reports and a customisable resource area. Its learning content includes microlearning modules, interactive videos, operational examples and syllabus-aligned digital books with Threat and Error flags and end-of-chapter quizzes.
- The platform also incorporates the Padpilot Briefing Room, an AI-powered study assistant available around the clock. According to Padpilot, the tool draws exclusively on its ATPL(A) educational content to explain technical subjects, support student understanding in multiple languages and assist instructors with theoretical knowledge delivery.
- Padpilot will showcase the Academy platform at the European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) 2026, taking place from 3–5 November at the Estoril Congress Centre in Cascais, Portugal. The platform is available to ATOs, with further information and demonstrations available at padpilot.com/padpilot-academy/
